2013 Students shared Room15 end of year reflection

(1) My highlights this year have been... Minecraft, the Funday, Splodder, Mad science day and the Assembly.

(3) What I want to be remembered by in 10 years time... Ill remember ICT and Vardon school

AND THEN THE NOISE STOPPED 100 WORD CHALLENGE

            AND THEN THE NOISE STOPPED...

I heard this noise it was freaky 2 hours later it stopped. 4 Days later it was heard again AAH will this noise will ever stop its getting me furious!!! I looked in this book called white-noise I looked in chapter 152 that’s the noise I’ve been hearing for 5 days I bran it home with me when it was night time I looked in the chapter 512 when a noise came out of the book oh my god I said I looked in chapter 4563 there was a sword it came out of the book I killed it splat.

mad science day

Last week we had Mad science day it was cool my group was me Rihari and Manaia it was too bad cause we had no time to do it but it was cool when Sarah R did the bubble thing and Miko,Kenley and Kori did the mentos and cola experiment thats what were doing too! i cant wait till my group does the mentos and the cola expreiment.

The end

End of year fun day.

On the last day of term 4 we are gonna have a celebration  for the end of the year its called end of year fun day we have to pack these things...

*sunscreen of cause its gonna be hot
* shared lunch to eat
*swimming togs and a towel cause its hot
* a big lunch for yourself ONLY!
* and.... a hat of course
we have to wear shorts and a singlet or a Tshirt cause it wiil be boling hot!!!

In 1988 a scroll in a bottle got washed from the Indian ocean this is what it said... the Philippians are poor we’ve got to help them. I will help them I said he got onto a plane to Philippians. The people greeted me and my mate Jones we are from world vision we will help you Jones said. We gave them water food like apples, lettuce, squash and lots and lots of..... homes to live in we have helped you now we have to go back to new Zealand bye the Philippines repeated after us we got back home.                    

Ooblick

This term we had a fun scientific time making sherbet fizz, hokey-poky chocolate dissolving marshmallow's freezing ice cubes. But on Monday/yesterday we made a goo called Ooblick it was messy when we made it. we used these ingredients to make it... 
*Corn flower 
*1/2cup of water
*And a couple of drops of food colouring
when it was finished it was slimy all over the bowl and newspaper. I enjoyed the gooey stuff

Hiwi the Kiwi

On the 6th of November we had 2 visitors come into our school from Hiwi the kiwi the Minstrel and his lady. Minstrel was crazy when someone came up he kept calling them booboo. Than we sang a song "Fish for the future". The people that came up got a poster and a sticker. Mac got the best pack cause he got a hat with a poster, a sticker and a magazine. At the end we sang the National anthem in a longer version then our version cause we have the short one.

                                                   THE HAUNTED THING

    There was a man/detective named Jake and a thing called a ghoul.

In the foggy night at 4:oopm Jake was walking in the woods when he saw something creeping out of the ground. A Human half corpse/dead with blood on his bottom lip, he had black eyes and broken hands. Jake was felling grass move because he was powerful he looked in his bag he had a magnifying glass gumball pranks a small chainsaw and a handgun. Jake got out the handgun he shot 5 bullets but… he kept on missing the thing because he was powerful so he saved his last bullet for later. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha you kept on missing my face!. I’ll kill you!!!!! Jake grabbed his chainsaw and sliced the ghoul’s power owwwwww!!!!!!! You sliced my power!!!. Jake grabbed his handgun and last bullet and shot the thing (splat!!!!!!!) I killed the thing yes! He went home having a bad dream about the thing he saw.

Room15 Assembly

Last week on October 25th we had our first assembly but this time we had a game tool called Minecraft and... NO one has ever performed this we were lucky. We had our song the worlds greatest by R-Kelly then Fabian and Libby shared a story :The Three Bears sort of it was funny a bit then we had an action song. To tinana ki rato and narrative writing and another song called scientific method. Mrs Anderson presented the class award then we finished our assembly I enjoyed my class assembly.

Speeches

Last week I had a speech about mine and also my dads culture it was about a car called a Mazda RX-8. The thing that was challenging was my time... one minute exactly. The thing that was eazy was NOT just staring at my cards I was nervous a bit anyway I enjoyed my speech.

Rippa-rugby

Yesterday we had a game called Rippa-Rugby it was really fun I was on the yellow team. My team lost but I still enjoyed it. We had warm-ups before playing the game we did jogging,bottom-kicks and more. I enjoyed the game.  

Speeches

Yesterday there were some people doing speeches and... i was judging! i judged Kenley,Rishika, and 2 more people. My speech is about my Dads RX-8.

Cultral Presintation

Our presentation was boxing day by me, Paris-jade and Crystal. Paris-jade was doing the facts I was doing the slide-show and Crystal was doing the background. there was other groups like Burmese new year, Holi, Cambodian new year and Ramadan and much more... I enjoyed the slideshow effects and the facts there was a funny fact by Crystal boxing day was invented by the state of bla bla bla. I found the slideshow challenging cause I only did 4 slides. I loved my group.

Gymsport festival

Last week we went to the gymsport festival at sunshine ave when we got there we saw some people doing gymnastics. By the time it was our turn to do hip hop i felt exited i did a flip at the start of the routine. The songs we did were boom boom and another song by step up 4. It was awesome cause we came 1st

My buddy reading is going really well cause my reader is specking well and were getting lost's of stikers and I'm quiet happy!



 

cross country training

My goal for cross country is to run 75km and 15 laps every day and run more faster than i used to run I am going well with my goal.

The Rusty Old Haunted Gate

As I walked to the rusty broken haunted gate

I saw something white it was a ghost beside the haunted house he was scary. It was staring at my face so I grabbed my pistol and I shot a bullet and I shot it, but I couldn’t shoot it because it was invisible so I ran across the street back to my house. The next night, I went back to the front gate this time I went INSIDE the house then I walked in. I was at the hallway a ghost came behind me and killed me. I’m blood splattered

Trashon show!

On Thursday June the 28th the school had a trashion show it was really cool all of our parents came to watch the show there were a lot of costumes.  Our buddy was Room 10 the class i was in last year.  The costumes were...  Muscle man by Miko, the poker dot clown by Matthew, balancing beauty by Terese, lollipop lulu girl by Manaia, the ringcison by Libby,  and the circus tent by Shai-anne.  The poker dot clown group was me, Dayton, Levi, Alex, and Cody.  At the end it was really awesome!!! there was a UV light the last costume was a butterfly with lots and lots of colours i loved the show.

Waste to Wow

This is a picture of my trashion show group working on our garment our silage wrap top and clown styled pants. We have enjoyed sewing and hot gluing pieces to our costume.

RockClimbing

Rock climbing looks like huge rocks as tall as a mountain. Rock climbing sounds like feet climbing to the top. Rock climbing smelt like people sweating. Rock climbing felt like butterfly's in my stomach.
